1 year of Justine & Astridat Marnix & Ally
It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year since Astrid and Justine joined the team at Marnix & Ally — it feels like they’ve been with us forever! Over the past year, they’ve grown into their roles, contributed their unique talents and become an integral part of our team. To mark this special milestone, we asked them to reflect on their first year, share their favorite moments and let us in on what they’ve learned along the way.
Can you both introduce yourselves and tell us your roles at Marnix and Ally?
— AstridHi, I’m Astrid and I work as a PR consultant with a focus on beauty clients at Marnix and Ally. — JustineI’m Justine, I'm content creative. My role is all about producing creative content that aligns with the vision of the brands I work with.
What’s one thing you wish more people knew about your role?
— AstridOne thing that surprised me is that my job isn’t as sedentary as you might think. There’s a lot of movement involved. Whether it’s making packages or having meetings, it’s a very active and dynamic role. — JustineFor me, I’ve learned that editing a reel takes much longer than expected. It’s not just about shooting and uploading; there’s a lot of time spent in the editing process to make sure it fits the brand’s vision.
What skills have you developed during your time at Marnix and Ally?
— JustineFor me, it’s the fact that content creation is all about making sure it aligns perfectly with the brand’s vision. It's not just about posting something — it's about creating content that truly represents the brand’s identity. — AstridI think for me, it’s discovering all the hidden tricks in Google Spreadsheets. It might sound small, but mastering those features has really made a difference in my daily work!
Looking at this picture now brings back so many memories from when we first joined Marnix & Ally. It’s funny to see how far we’ve come — full of energy, eager to learn and still a bit uncertain about where this journey would take us. But here we are, one year later, with a lot more knowledge, experience and even more excitement for what lies ahead!
What’s your favorite part of working at Marnix and Ally?
— Astrid & Justine For sure, it's the clients we get to work with! And of course, having such a creative and supportive team makes everything even more rewarding.
What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned since joining Marnix and Ally?
— AstridFor me, it’s how much my colleagues motivate and inspire me every day. — JustineI’ve discovered that I’m much more of a multitasker than I initially thought! There’s always a lot going on and I’ve learned how to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
What’s your goal for 2025?
— AstridMy goal for 2025 is to continue growing Marnix & Ally’s beauty portfolio and to support even more beauty brands in reaching their full potential. — JustineTo help even more brands with their social media and to continue capturing the beautiful moments at Marnix & Ally.
