A festival in an open air museum? Yup, anything’s possible at Bokrijk.
As there aren't any rock bands or pop artists to perform your favorite sing-along songs, it's safe to say the Bokrijk Summer Festival is not your ordinary festival. In fact, the headliners aren’t related to music at all, but to history instead! (From the beginning of the 20th century to the roaring sixties, to be precise…)
At the festival, you’re able to join a variety of interesting activities around craftsmanship, the restoration campaign ‘120 against 2021’, heritage experience and the exhibition of Tim Van Steenbergen on textile. Plus, they even organise yoga and screen printing for kids!

The festival will be open until 2 September, so you still have time to (re)discover what Bokrijk is all about this summer. Enjoy your stay back in time!
